The Asia Institute believes that experiential learning opportunities in Asia can be life-changing. To increase the number of students studying abroad in Asia each year, The Asia Institute partners with various organizations who aim to support participation in global learning experiences. Return to Asia Scholarships
Due to the global disruptions caused by COVID-19, study abroad programs have been cancelled or postponed for thousands of students. To encourage the return of interest in study abroad in 2021 and 2022, The Asia Institute will award $125,000 in scholarship funding to students on faculty-led short-term programs in Asia, prioritizing for 2020 programs that were cancelled.

Community College for International Development (CCID) Scholarship
International Engineering Scholarships
Alongside the Colloquium on International Engineering Education, The Asia institute provides scholarships to undergraduate, graduate or doctoral students who are attending a university in the United States and whose minor, major, masters or doctoral degree is in the field of engineering.

Pennsylvania Global Scholarships
The Asia Institute and the Pennsylvania Council for International Education (PaCIE) award scholarships to undergraduate, graduate or doctoral students who are attending a university or college in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

International Educators of Illinois (IEI) Scholarships
